:
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from E.B.T. -- Very special book about learning differences : This book is a great gift for anyone who finds reading challenging. The author tells the story of his childhood and how he came to find reading in his own way and at his own pace. It celebrates the idea that reading slowly is perfectly okay! My eight year old grandson loves it. This book would also be a great resource for reading specialists in elementary schools. The text is sensitive and engaging and the illustrations are lively and creative. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2021 )
